SAIFA is part of the European AI Factories network, dynamic ecosystems co-funded by the European Commission to accelerate the development of trustworthy Artificial Intelligence models and the services based on them.
The European AI Factories harness the power of EuroHPC JU supercomputers, integrating computing resources, access to high-quality data, scientific and industrial expertise, and experimental tools to promote innovation in strategic sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, climate, finance, and space.
In particular, through its AI Gateway, SAIFA will enable easier access and use of the EuroHPC infrastructure, especially the Pharos AI Factory in Greece and IT4LIA AI Factory in Italy. This user-centric interface will guide Serbian researchers, SMEs, and startups through the process of accessing pan-European HPC resources, including model deployment, dataset exchange, and benchmarking tools. SAIFA’s approach contributes to the national Strategy’s objectives of expanding digital infrastructure and ensuring equitable access to advanced technologies across the AI ecosystem.
Serbia’s startup and SME support ecosystem is also a priority in the AI Strategy, and SAIFA is deeply aligned with these goals.
